Car Crash Britain Drives 'em Crazy

Car Crash Britain : You Drive Me CrazyITV have been using the most well known of Ronnie's songs,'You drive me crazy', on their trailer adverts for the instantly popular 'Car Crash Britain: Caught on Camera', a series of six programmes aired on Tuesday evenings since the 2nd February.

The episodes feature actual footage from dashboard cameras fitted to cars and trucks. Some of the driving on show in the clips is certainly crazy, though it's not quite what Ronnie had in mind when he penned the song! Nice twist on it though.

2015 Christmas Single Released

Christmas-cant-be-far-awayNew 2015 Christmas single released alongside Ronnie's 1981 'Santa's On His Way'

Ronnie Harwood has released his new Christmas single, Christmas Can't Be Far Away, along with Santa's On His Way.

This latter track was recorded in December 1981, at the time Ronnie was writing for Shaking Stevens. Billy Bremner played lead guitar, Mick Underwood drums, big Dave on bass guitar, and Pete Kelly played piano. The recording session was at Fast Buck in West London and the sound was engineered in the studio by Ed Hamilton.

Georgia Records thought it would be a novel festive idea to release it now, after all these years, along with Ronnie's latest track. You'll find download links in the Georgia Records section of this site, and both are directly availlable from iTunes and Amazon. Please enjoy!

Santa really is on his way!

Christmas-cant-be-far-awayWellingborough, UK - 20th October 2015

Ah yes, Christmas can't be far away now

Ronnie Harwood is releasing two 'new' Christmas singles, one recently written and one written at the height of his and Shakin' Stevens' popularity, in 1981, but never officially released until now.

Ronnie told us, "I wanted to release a Christmas song that I wrote and recorded back in 1981. It was intended for Shaky at the time. Having just written 'Christmas Can't Be Far Away' for a possible TV sync this year, I thought why not release the track 'Santa's On His Way' now as well.

"We had so much fun recording it. Billy Bremner plays guitar on the track. We recorded it in December 1981, so we were actually feeling Christmassy when we did it," Ronnie remembers with a smile. "It was done at Fast Buck Studios in West London. Ed Hamilton was our sound engineer."

Released on Ronnie's Georgia Records label, with digital distribution handled by Horus Music, the tracks will be available very soon for download from iTunes, Amazon and other popular music download sites.

"May I take a moment and wish you all a great 2016," Ronnie added. "Merry Christmas everyone."
